Tom was in Swanscombe in Kent to install some of our premium Sumatra White Teak shutters for a client. These are top of the range when it comes to our selection of hardwoods. It is in fact one of the world’s finest quality timbers and both sustainable and ethical, sourced from the Solomon Islands!
Our Sumatra Range is available in 28 different paint colours and 20 stains, with the optional extra of being able to use customer colours in the design. After the design process was completed using exacting measurements taken by our surveyors. The shutters were installed using beaded stiles, helping to add character to the installation.
The shutters were made up in a café style running half way up the window with window dressing directly above to close the gap when required. We used 76mm louvres with centralised tilt rods on each panel, creating an elegant yet classic look, set against the clients interior just looks amazing.
We finished the installation in pure white with matching hinges, which blend perfectly with the window framing. We left a delighted customer with their new shutters which not only look the part, but carry out their intended job for years to come!
